Why LeaderPeer?

Who can join LeaderPeer?
LeaderPeer is a platform for leaders and aspiring leaders at all levels of an organization. You don't have to lead a team to be a leader. Anyone who wants to influence decisions, lead projects, or become an authority in their domain, can be a leader.

​What are the fees?
We charge an annual fee of $249 (plus applicable taxes) to be part of the community. The fee includes all webinars and workshops. You can make your purchase here.

What kinds of webinars and workshops are provided?

How quickly will I get a response to my question?
LeaderPeer is open 24/7 and questions are typically responded to within a few hours. Sometimes a little bit longer if you post the question between 9 pm and 8 am in the Eastern time zone. You can expect to get 2-3 responses from your peers within one day, with more to follow as time passes.

What is your cancellation policy?
​You can cancel at any time and your account will be closed right away. We do not offer refunds at this time. 

Can companies sign up their employees?
Yes! We would love to help your employees. Contact us to set up an enterprise arrangement for your organization.

How secure is the site and my data?
The LeaderPeer community is built on a well-established platform that prioritizes your security. All customer data is secured with the latest encryption algorithms and technologies. Visit our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use pages for more information.

What if my colleagues or team are on the site? How do I ask private questions?
When you ask a question, you will have the option to post it anonymously, so nobody will know you asked it. Leave out any details specific to your organization or team. You'll be amazed at how easy it is to disguise yourself and your question.
How does LeaderPeer manage quality of content and members?
Our community is self-policing. If you see a question, answer or post that breaks the rules, there is a "Report" button that allows you to immediately inform us. If someone is trying to sell something, or is trolling or creating negativity in the group, we will suspend their account immediately.

Do the answers or questions I enter create a legal liability for myself or the company?
Our Terms of Use guide the actions of our members, and we have explicitly laid out the responsibilities of each member as it pertains to creating a safe place to share advice. Members may not hold other members responsible for the actions taken or not taken based on advice received. You are 100% responsible for your choices. Read the Terms of Use for more details.

Who are the vetted experts?
We have hand picked experienced leaders and executive coaches who have a track record of helping leaders succeed. You will identify them in the community with their gold badge that says "Vetted Expert". Start your free trial to read their profiles.

How is LeaderPeer different from LinkedIn?
  • No random content - every post is related to a specific question posed by a member
  • Tailored advice - get answers to your specific problems from people who have the answers
  • Networking is optional - you can create groups and interact with others who join your group
  • No sales, marketing or spam - we banish that immediately

Can I become a vetted expert? How?
Our Founder selects the Vetted Experts based on experience, diversity and skill level. If you wish to become a Vetted Expert, you can apply by contacting us and providing the following information:
  • Your name, email address​ and LinkedIn profile
  • Ensure your LeaderPeer profile is up to date
  • Explain your qualifications

How does LeaderPeer compare to hiring an executive coach?
Executive coaching is a highly customized, intensive and expensive endeavour. It can take 1-2 weeks to get started with an executive coach. LeaderPeer gets you immediate answers to your most pressing questions for free, from a diverse set of perspectives. Our Vetted Experts include executive coaches, current executives and retired executives.

Why the LeaderPeer Community?

We monitored our data to see what topics got the most traction with leaders. We poured through a decade's worth of newsletters, public speaking events, webinars and our experience with hundreds of coaching clients and thousands of leaders through our executive coaching business. It all came down to one big theme: 

Influence. And all the things that stand in its way.

The biggest frustrations we found had to do with the interpersonal interactions that leaders have with difficult people.
